Joel D. Pickett, M.D., F.A.C.S.

Dr. Pickett is a specialist in the treatment of spinal, cranial and peripheral nerve disorders. He is a leader in minimally invasive and endoscopic treatments. Dr. Pickett achieved his Medical Degree from the University of Arkansas, Little Rock followed by a General Surgery Internship. He then completed a 6-year neurosurgical residency at Vanderbilt University In 1992. Dr. Pickett is dedicated to the advancement of spine treatment and was the first surgeon in the State of Alabama perform an artificial cervical disc replacement. He participates in numerous leading spinal research studies through his practice.
