Cheng W. Tao, M.D., F.A.C.S.

Dr. Tao specializes in the minimally invasive treatment of the cervical, lumbar and thoracic spine as well as brain and peripheral nerves. Dr. Tao achieved his Medical Degree at the University of Tennessee in Memphis followed by a General Surgery Internship. He then completed a 6-year Neurosurgical Residency at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta in 2005. Dr. Tao is Board-Certified and Fellowship-Trained and is active in the advancement of spinal research through his participation in clinical research studies.
